| I have planted cucumbers this year as a first. Varieties are Carmen and Marketmore. Both inside a greenhouse. I know some varieties are shorter than others, but how long do each of these varieties grow before I can harvest. Carmen are currently about 6". |

| Use them as soon as they are big enough for your use, six inches is plenty big enough to use. I would have had my first one when it was half that size. They aren't like tomatoes where they have to ripen to use. Havn't even sighted one on my plant yet and it is up to the top of the greenhouse, plenty of male flowers no females. Gherkins are doing well and don't seem to have any male flowers. Ian |
