  • Holes in leaves

    Hi,

My runner beans, courgette and pepper leaves are very holey, the bean leaves are by far the worst. There are blackfly under some of the runner leaves (and ants) but I can't see any under the cougettes and peppers. I cannot see any trace of slugs, snails and some of the leaves are quite delicate and high up to hold a slug? I also have set beer traps and have nothing yet in them.

I have 2 questions to ask the knowledgable *creeping* how do I get rid of the blackfly (if these could be the problem) and what could be eating the leaves?

    Thank you.

    Blackfly: squish with your fingers
Holes: most likely baby snails (they don't always leave a trail)

I have also set up an earwig trap as there seems to be a lot on the beds.
