          This article says its the parent of the squashy things Brevicoryne (aphids): identification, images, ecology
          Its an "Alate" (another word I've learnt today!)-
          a·late [ey-leyt]
          adjective Also, a·lat·ed.

          2. having membranous expansions like wings.
          noun
          3. the winged form of an insect when both winged and wingless forms occur in the species.

              Having spent two days systematically squishing caterpillars on my greens, I'm devastated to find there may be more squashy-able things to keep an eye out for. The stuff of nightmares.

                tried crossing a venus fly trap with a kilaxy cabbage,grew fine and bug free but when I tried to harvest it it bit the end off the spade
                don't be afraid to innovate and try new things

                    as it happens I do have 6 varieties of carnivorous plants on my windowsill..........feed me NOW and it's chris actually

                      Haha - Little Shop of Horrors, I do believe!? When visiting an open garden a few weeks back we saw some huge Poppy buds, just about to open, and I commented that one of them reminded me of the film. The friend I was with, hadn't seen it....
