    Help needed for beginner - pinching out

    Hello, im completely new to growing veg, i have various things growing and have been lucky enough to be given some things from friends etc. I have learnt all about "pinching out" the little side shoots on tomato plants but i was wondering if you need to do this on pepper plants and chilli plants as i have noticed that they both have these additional shoot.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    No, don't pinch out the sideshoots on peppers/chillis, these will develop more flowers and more fruit. if the plant is leggy however you can pinch out the growing tip to promote the sideshoot growth.

      ... and don't pinch out the side shoots on bush tomatoes either
