  • help! liquid plant food

i ve started to use liquid Plant food on my indoor veg pots can any one tell me if this will make my veg uneatable should i have used veg/tom food?

I doubt they need anything just yet. It won't make them inedible but they might become over leafy - not good it you want tomatoes! There is about 6 weeks worth of feed in a seed compost.

What have you got growing, and what did you give them?

How long have they been growing? As Flummery said they don't need any feed at all for about six weeks, and by then you should have put them into bigger pots with more fresh compost so they won't need feeding for another four to six weeks.

Miracle Grow would be 'OK' - it's high in nitrogen (for green leaf growth) and in potassium (for fruit), however I wouldn't use it on seedlings, they don't need it.
Each time you repot your plants they are getting fresh compost, which usually has nutrients in it.
I'd only be feeding your toms and chillies as they set fruit, myself. I don't feed beans at all (they fix their own nitrogen in their roots)

As usual 2 Sheds is spot on the only question I would have is when you plant out your seedlings will they be in the ground or in a pot? As this can make a difference.

My preference is for SB Plant Invigorator which not only provides a foliar feed but a very safe form of pest control
