    some of them were whoppers too!
    OH will be pleased, cheesy leeks as a side dish for tea - yum!

      some still are (weird as all sown at same time) but I had enough from 4 big leeks for tonight's tea!

        same here, i have harvested 4 or 5 in the last week.
        i sowed mine in three bites so i have some about half to three quarters which is when i harvest them. some pencil size and some small ones. i think it also depends on where they were planted and what they have followed on in that area or position.
        a good put down line to use !

        If having brains was a fatal disease, you would be the only survivor.

          We've had some of ours too. There's one in the soup for lunch, chuntering away as we speak!

            Try some in containers next year. We had pencil or baby leeks from the last week in July from a March sowing in the greenhouse. Maincrop have been producing for about 3 weeks now. Just wish I'd planted more.
