Hi, has anyone ever grown loofah. If so how did they grow and when is the best time to sow them indoors. Just want to try and grow them as they look fun to grow and I am always looking for unusual things to grow. I can grow them in the pollytunnel if needs be. Thanks all.

I tried some last year ...........got them going planted them out and then they sulked for the rest of the summer .........but there again so did the BNS so I will try again this year ........S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig

Sounds like another challenging weird plant! A cross between a cucumber and a Brillo pad. Must try it!
Been meaning to ask you Bins - what is BNS? Is it another word we're not supposed to use here like C....mas & P....ips? or something like British National Seed, or Big Naughty Shape, or ....Comment
