I'm sure I asked this last back end, but I think it was Flum who recommended these, and very beautiful they are! The plants are covered in them!But how do you tell they are ripe please?

Mine have shown some reddening between the green. I've had to pick them all off now due to blight getting the plant. Hope some ripen on the window sillI could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

They go yellowish and soften up. They are FABULOUS grilled! Pretty good in a salad too.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
