Grow Your Own Magazine

Has anybody used simple green house shades or curtains to reduce the greenhouse temperature. Not looking for expensive system but something that does a reasonable job. The sun is on one side from 10.0am to 7.0pm

I got hold of a bit of that green net they use on the scaffolding and put that over the top of my greenhouse.
Looks ok and provides shade without blocking all the light out.

If you want cheap then use garden lime.
About a cup in the bottom of a bucket mixed with water such that you can paint it on with a brush.
Paint on the inside and wash of any plants that get splattered.
At the end of the year it washes off with a sponge.
Watch you eyes !
