Just looking to order my garlic bulbs for this years attempt, not had too much success up to now. Just wondering whether there are any particular varieties which people have had good success with and would reccomend over others?

I usually order a mixed selection (sometimes special offer) from the Garlic Farm on the Isle of Wight and it has always been successful, although a little smaller in some cases this year (but I think that is a result of the strange weather we've had). This year I'm hoping to have enough to avoid buying any. I think most varieties are easy to grow.Granny on the Game in SheffieldComment

i'm trying some elephant garlic this year, managed ti get some good looking bulbs in the GS this weekend in the 50p bucket
had some success this year with another variety (can't remember which) but most were rather on the small sideComment
