Funny pallet - need ideas

    Funny pallet - need ideas



    I've got this funny looking pallet and am looking for ideas.

    I do want to make a sloped roof for my compost bin so I can fill a rain barrel off a gutter from it... but I just feel it would be a shame to rip this apart without having looked for inspiration!

    I'd probably plant it up, or cut in half and plant it up. Not sure about the wing bits though, but a bug hotel would be on the cards....

      I have pallet envy
      I'd turn it into a multi tiered planter by putting wire mesh at each level to form the tiers, fill with MPC and plant it up with strawbs, lettuce and other small thingamejigs!
      I want one of those

                    I may have a chat to the local builder, see if he can find me some! He gave me one of the paving slab crates that I use as a raised bed.

                          Addemdum to my post above,if any do ask into this the correct term for this item is a stillage rather than pallet it also dawns on me that there may be some available at hauliers that use curtain sided lorries for palletised stock movement.
