| Dig down and have a look...see if any sizable spuds say hello, if not cover them back up and wait a bit. I prefer not to leave them in the ground untill leaves die of because last time I did this I got more pest damage. Flowering or not didn't seem to make a difference to yield. |

| Maincrop shouldn't produce spuds after just a month. It's no problem that they are producing flowers though. You usually wait for the haulm to die back before you dig up maincrops.
