Hello,
I will be planting onions, shallots, and garlic later this week, then parsnips & carrots next month though need to know what fertililiser to apply to the soil as a precursor to planting/sowing.
My manure is not yet rotted down enough, so I will be using chicken manure pellets as an underlay for my potatoes when thay go in later this month, though would chicken manure be suitable for my onions, shallots, garlic, parsnips, & carrots?
Or would fish, bone, blood be a better option here? Are there any others to consider?
