Hi, I am just wondering if my garlic has the above? I am just a little worried as I have just planted my module grown onion sets right next to them. If it is downy mildew will they need to come out and will it spread to my onions? Many thanks

I can't see any signs of mildew - what are you worrying about? If it's the fact that the older outer leaves have gone brown and dry this is quite normal. -

Mine are in beds in the greenhouse and don't look as advanced as yours.
Just for appeance sake I keep nipping the dead leaves off but thee's probably no need.

Haha yeah I'm a newby to growing veg to using the old tape measure for the correct spacings. It never occured to me to use a tape measure! - You Genius! I go on guessing how far spacings should be, then I shove em in anyway!
