  • Digging up more lawn.

We've, well me really I've been looking at the lawn and how much space we 'need' to dry out the tent and it comes to I can dig some more grass up and extend my veg beds. Its going to nearly double my growing space so I'm really chuffed.

Just need to work out the best place to build a permanent bean row so it doesn't put the beds in shade.
    Location....East Midlands.

Every year we decided we have far too much grass and not enough veg!
We have that horrible wirey fencing in between us and nextdoor. So this year I dug a bed and grew peas and tomatoes!

We cant air our tent in our garden our tent is 12 foot wide and so is our garden.... not sure the neighbours would be happy with us guying it up in theirs. Lol. We have to take it to the local park, slightly embarrassing. Especially when you get nosey bints telling you your not allowed to camp there!

Oh and the chickens are taking over my garden!

I dry out our tent on the washing line ... you only need a line of stepping stones under the line, not a whole lawn

I should have said in my first post ours is a trailer tent so it has to be erected.

That's what I've been telling my OH for the last four years but she's measured the lawn so that I can't even dig it up when she's away visiting family
