I like to sow some seeds. It's quite chilly out there but there's some nice sun in the sky. So, at Lunchtime...
I am sowing..
Echinacea, from a seed head that I just harvested - some get better crops from winter sowings so I'm trying some out.
Various winter lettuces, including some winter cress
Garlic Chives
Chives from seed heads picked earlier in the year
Perpetual Spinach
Kale
A few peas, I know it is early but I'm popping these under a plastic container for the winter and I'll keep them to about 4 inches max until the spring.
Then I'm transplanting some onions/salads into another spare square of soil.
