Default Cyprus cucmbers

A work colleague who is originally from Cyprus brought some cucumber seeds back with him. He has given me six seedlings in 3" pots. They look healthy but will they grow outside? I haven't got a greenhouse.

It very much depends on the variety. Obviously Cyprus is quite a bit warmer than here so you may not be in luck. Do you have any way of finding out the variety. Even if they are a definitely indoors in our climate type, you may be able to get them going in the garden with a bit of protection, could you provide a cloche / small tunnel or even a cold frame to keep the temperature up a bit?

Or you could restrict the hieght of them and grow them in a multigrow in the link below just remove all except the bottom shelf.

Thanks for that link Crichmond. Looks like a good solution.
