  • Cucumber question

Hi, I have couple of cucumber plants in 1 litre pots that I plan to plant out in the tunnel. All of a sudden they've exploded in growth and have tendrils and flower buds. It's my first time growing cucumbers. They are way ahead of where I thought they would be so what should I do now? It's obviously too early to put them in the tunnel. I'll pot them up but should I put in a pea stick or something to give them something to climb?
Thanks for any advise as usual!

Mine are the same. Gone mental. I've put a bit of a cane in there to support them. You'll just have to keep potting them up as they get bigger until it's safe to plant out. I think mine will be a bit big by then. Still better than last year when they were pretty much pathetic.

Mine are also the same - 2 Baby F1 plants. I've transferred them to the tunnel where they are sitting on a rack. They seem to like this OK and are still growing, so hopefully they can go in the ground in a week or two if it ever warms up a bit. Mind you, I went in the tunnel Sunday morn and the thermometer read 32°C, so they're getting plenty of warmth in the day.
      Are y'oroight booy?

Thanks. I'll pot them up, add a stick and pray to the sun god
