I grew one in the GH and one outside last year, the GH grown one was better but not by masses.

Marketmore are an outside cucumber and relativity cheep to buy the seed. I've grown them every year without disappointment.
I grow crystal lemon in the green house but if you have a south facing wall that's sheltered I can't see you having much of a problem.
The fruits of the CL are very nice in flavour there also prickly shined I peeled mine, skins can be a little tuff.

I've had no success so far with outdoor cucumbers.
Last year I grew burpless tasty green on a windowsill inside and outside in a cheap �10 blow-away plastic grow house. Both sites did well, but I had to ferilise the female flowers with a brush.

The burpless and ctystal apple I tried to grow outside both popped their cloggs!!

I've grown them inside and out, they'll grow very well outside but the skins tend to be a bit tougher than ones grown in the greenhouse. Will be sowing mine next weekend which is about normal for me so you're not too late.

I grew the crystal one outside and totally neglected it: forgot to water etc. It grew really well even so, but I gave the fruits to the guinea pigs

Have a pretty hot patio which is in full sun for most of the day. Not sure what way facing but it gets hot dam hot.
Toms like it so will give cucumbers a try.
Thanks for all the help.
Will buy some seeds on thrusday and hope it doesn't snow.
