    could i plant some beetroot seeds

    I have a packet of boltardy beetroot seeds and it say,s i can sow them up to July .

    I have a large container that i could sow them in now but is it to late i would be putting them under metting to try and keep them warm .

    I sowed some last week, they are up already and my schools will be growing them under cover for the next few months.

    Best thing is if they don't bulk up, you can use the leaves in winter salads. Just keep the slugs off them!

      Thank,s zazen999 for the advice i,ll have a go and if it gets cold i,ll put some Polythene over them had a look at your blog very good
