Default Chilli plant leaves are being eaten by something

My Chilli plants in my greenhouse are being eaten by something. I have noticed 3 or 4 leaves have been either stripped or badly chewed. I put down some slug pellets yesterday but found nothing today and another leaf had been stripped. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this if its not slugs/snails?

Mine were recently attacked by ants and greenfly,, they looked like swiss cheese leaves, Sprayed them with some soapy water and they have not been touched since.

That would make sense as I sometimes see the odd ant scurrying around. Just made up a weak washing up liquid solution and sprayed the plants affected. Many thanks for the tip.
