  • Chard bright lights in a growbag?

I had a growbag going spare and put some chard seeds in it.
    Any thoughts?
Will it be too shallow? I'm not too fussed if it doesn't work as I'll fit some more in soon in the veggie bed, but hey...its got two chances!

It wouldn't be my first choice that's for sure, it will probably work to a certain degree.
I think that chard has long roots, though don't quote me on that, it's been a while since I saw a chard root.

Please ignore everything I say, I make it up as I go along, not only do I generally not believe what I write, I never remember it either.

I'd say they do have a substantial root Womble. Took me and Mr F (and a cat and a dog and a mouse!) to uproot The Enormous Chard that was still shooting on my plot a day or two ago. The chookies have munched it up now.

I'd have banged in a couple more courgettes or toms!

          ho hum!
I didn't realise it was such a large plant. Gosh!
I think I'll see what happens though, at the very least I can hope for some colourful salad leaves!
