my kitten was 'helping' me plant some seeds before she was doing very well, rolling in the soil, and running off with stuff ....... then i turned round, and she was sat on my lettuce seedlings ........ and was chewing the heads off the ones she wasn't sat on ........ she said they were very tasty

Just cats Lynda. I love them but they are a total nuisance in the garden - especially when they are other peoples. I grow all my veg under nets then I don't have to complain about the cats, pigeons, blackbirds, sparrows and other veg nuisances.

i couldn't be cross with her, she was so cute, and luckily it was the lettuce and not something important, she looked so pleased with herself for 'helping' me with the weeding lol

tuna is favourite round here, if i open a tin, all 3 of them appear as if by magic lol

but, as she's only allowed out on her lead yet, she's now being kept away from the lettuce, i'm sure she should prefer the fish pond really
