    had some lovely sprouts cabbages brocolie cauliflowers sweads ect all growing very well had taken a lot of time to make sure they were all covered with netting and was very proud of my lot, then diaster we had a week away about a month ago and while away catapilars moved in they hav devoured the lot alls left is some very strange looking skelitoll looking plants, my qestion may sound stupid but is there any chance these will recover or should I just face up to it and go and dig them all up.

    Some of our calabrese was munched a month or two back and is slowly recovering so I'd suggest you wait and see for a while, after all what have you got to lose?
    Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

      i had a couple of plants munched right to the stem, and i just left them, and they have now grown loads of new leaves, so i'd be inclined to leave them too ......

        thanks, its nice to know its happened to someone els and its not just me, will take your advice and leave them in (I mean that in the nicest way ) although plants do look rather strange.cath
