  • Carrot Fly & Debris Netting

Would Debris netting with the eye holes stitched up be small enough mesh size to keep Carrot Fly at bay?

It's what I'm planning on using armthorpe - I researched it last year before I bought it, and it seemed to be recommended by Those Who Know These Things.

The debris netting I have has larger holes than enviromesh so personally I wouldn't risk it. I'm determined to beat the bl**dy fly this year.

The fly is 8mm long, so not tiny. My debris netting (holes sewn up) does keep them out, if I manage to keep it all pegged down, but on a very windy site that's not really possible

Sorry but I'm new in gardening and were I have my carrots I put old net courtains as I've seen in the allotment video from two sheds (lovely allotment).
