  • Can you freeze mange tout?

A friend asked this question today. Never tried it, so dunno! Is there a technique with which you can?

well you can buy them frozen so guess so, like other things though, they will lose their crispness after they thaw, but as long as they are being cooked, there shouldn't be a problem.

I've been freezing mine, into boiling water for approx 1 min, then drain and into ice cold water, pat dry and freeze.

Seems to be ok so far.

They never get the chance in our house, get eaten too quick!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
