Help my toms ( I am growing 6 varieties )some are about 2foot tall ,some are starting to flower. I have grown them in the house and I have about 60 of them but I am running out of space .

Blimey DT, that's some big house you have! It's not really warm enough to put them entirely outside yet, but if it's warm enough where you are I suppose you could put them out during the day and bring them in at night. Mine are in the greenhouse but are put inside a fleeced blow-away at night.

Unfortunately jack is paying us a late visit this week and weekend. Cold northerly air is almost upon us. Tonight ok but frost forecast later in the week.
I hate jack. My potatoes are all up.........toms and chilli now in the GH.

You're in the south-west, so your last frost may well have passed - mine has.

DT, I'm hardening my toms off as we speak. They'll all go back in the greenhouse tonight, then back out tomorrow as long as the wind is not too strong or cold.

I think that means, Sarico, that there will be a frost in early May, so until we've had one they should stay under cover, however, the weather is way too fickle to adhere to the vague dates of a website. I haven't seen any frost since I built my greenhouse nearly two months ago.Tried and Tested...but the results are inconclusive

i have seen the frost twice all year.. but i don't want to be a third one lol... my plant they still not that big so i did for 2 months bring them in and out so another 2 weeks i don't think will be a problem...better play safe.Originally posted by Pa Snips View PostComment

Been hoping for free p&p, missed out a few weeks ago - we were in Cyprus, where we saw some 'Fernleaf' lavender. Looks really nice. So I thought I'd look for some plugs/plants when we got back. Seems that you start them from seed, only a few places do them. T&M had them for 99p though, but with...Today, 10:17 AM
