does anybody know how long to leave it in the ground before rotating it back into the ground

Never used Caliente but used normal mustard and you need to dig it in before it flowers ideally!

Can I ask where you got the Caliente seed? It has a fumigating/sterilising effect on the soil I believe when used as a green manure!

One thing you have to remember is that because it is a brassica it needs to be incorporated into a crop rotation regime.........but you probably already new that!
