Are you certain that they are definitely the Minicole seedlings - I had a bad bag of compost last season and I had loads of small weed seedlings emerge before the true seedlings appeared.
If they are the true seedlings, sounds like a record to me - I know you can make parsley germinate really quickly by watering with very warm water, but never heard of it being a matter of hours for seedlings to emerge. Well done.

A small (very small) dutch white autumn cabbage.... which reminds me, I need to get some seeds......

Brassicas generally and cabbages especially, tend to be through fast, I sowed a lot of modules of various veg last weekend, 20-something varieties across 120 modules in the propagators, and the Kalibos cabbages were coming through by Wednesday evening, IIRC the Hispi's I sowed a few weeks agoi were up in days too.....

If they are weeds coming through they are very organised and coming through in two to three per module

That's amazing! I'm waiting weeks for everything to germinate.

As you left a week between filling up the modules to settle the compost and sowing your cabbage seeds, could any other seeds have been sown in that time?
