 Bolted garlic I have grown two varieties of garlic ths winter (sowed them late Nov), a purple variety which I planted from last years crop, this looks fine. The second variety, San Marco (I think) is a white garlic bulb, this appears to have bolted. I pulled the flower stalks off. What has gone wrong, did I plant them too early? Should I just lift them now? Any advice would be much appreciated.      |

| Your Garlic has not bolted some varieties do run to flower there is no problem some people cook the flower stems i think they are called whips they are used to flavour salads as well . no problem do not worry all is well  jacob
