Hi, I have a very small aubergine beginning to grow on my plant but there is a round hole in the end of the bud. It almost looks like a hole has been drilled! Any ideas? thanks!

I had quite a few of these on my aubergines last year. Not a clue what made them tho, sorry!If it ain't broke...fix it til it is!

Found this link through another forum where someone else had the same problem. They were suggesting that it could be this:
Bright-line Brown-eye Lacanobia oleracea - UKMoths
As tomatoes are related to aubergines it could be the culprit.AKA AngieComment

I have three plants, all grew beautifully and produced lovely lilac flowers, then these dried up and dropped off and now the plants are following suit.....?!

Our Aubergine plant has about 20 flowers on now, its gone mad, it has 3 aubergines growing on it now, how many flowers should I cut off? I can get a photo on here if needed?Comment

I have to say, I've never cut any off. They seem to drop off by themselves but a more experienced aubergine grower than me might have other adviceOriginally posted by frogga View Post
