I have 50 2 inch fish and 18 8 inch fish. 1400 litres of water and 1400 litres of growbed. 80 litres of air a minute and a 5000 litres of water an hour being pumped into the system. The water pumps to the beds on 15 minutes on and and 15 minutes off. It creates a flood and drain environment of high oxygenated water. The plants and fish love it. I presently have a ph of 8 which is causing a nutrient lockout so I dose with a seaweed extract. The high ph comes from the media I have used. The supplier assured me that it was neutral but I have found otherwise. The bugger.

I am very interested.......but lack space at home and I'm not sure it is suited to an allotment......it seem to work as a community thing........
