    Am I killing my seedings already

    Hi guys

    I have had my seedilings on the windowsill the last few days when it seems that it has been quite warm. I have noticed that a lot of them have curled leaves, even some dry ones. I am going to repot them today but was wondering if they are just getting too hot or am I destroying them? I have toms, aubs and peppers.







    Some of the seedlings inthat one havent incresed i size for 2/3 weeks

    Also do they look a bit leggy? Should I bury themup a bit this afternoon when I repot?

    The Tomatoes look OK, but too crowded. I think the Peppers in the bottom picture are leggy, the Aubs are OK - although maybe a bit leggy. But you can / should bury all of them up to the seed leaves when repotting (an the Tomatoes can go deeper if you like)

    Leggy means not enough light, so that issue remains after you report them (plus the larger pots will mean that they take up more space, so that may put some pressure on your windowsill space?

    Peppers and Aubergines grow more slowly than Tomatoes, so don't worry that they don't seem to be growing as much.

      Well they are gonna go in the plastic greenhouse when potted up, should be okay here in s.east I would have thought.

        Okay all potted up now.

        I assume it is normal for them to look a bit droopy when first transplanted. A bit of water and they should be back to life in the morning right?

              TT, it would be a good idea if you put your location into your profile so we know whereabouts in the country you are - it makes a difference because of weather/climate. They do droop a bit when first transplanted, hope they've perked up for you.
