  • After early potatos

I've just cleared a few square feet of garden by digging up my second early potatos, I know we are well into August, but is there anything I can sow or plant right now or in the coming days in the way of veg? Thanks.

Try something quick like lettuce, radish or pak choi. Hugh

Not too late to put leeks in if you can get hold of any plants. Also spring cabbage can be sown now.

As ever, thanks, guys and gals, I'm indebted to you all, maybe one day I too will be able to pass on what I've learnt, hopefully.

My neighbour put in more pots - Charlottes.

              That was brave of him.
