 Undercover cucumbers The cucumber plants (2) in my G/house are doing fine, first cucs forming nicely. However the 3 that I planted at the same time in my P/tunnel are a fraction of the size! And I mean a fraction, they look healthy but are so small and growing so slowly. Should I cut my losses and pull em up, or leave them for a later crop?

| I'd leave them unless you need the space. The polytunnel may not be as warm as the greenhouse and growth will be slower. |

| If you had all 5 plants fruiting at the same time then you'd be drowning in cucs so a few a bit later will be a very good thing. If they're healthy, then leave them be. I find that a single plant is more than enough for me, have been giving them away the last couple of years.
