  • Spare parts for Premier Polytunnel!

so I've just completed assembly of a 14ft x 30ft Premier Polytunnel and now find myself with a few spares.
As the instructions are largely unhelpful and and refer to several different polytunnels rolled into one instruction "manual" (and may as well have been written in Sanskrit) I am unable to establish what these spares are for.
    I have 2 x 28/300FF90 and 4 x 28mm P-clips plus lots and lots of nuts and bolts.
The 28/300FF90's are referred to as door rail supports in the parts list although they are too long to fit between the top hoop and the horizontal steel door rail.

Any suggestions will be appreciated from people who have come across this also?

    Hi John.

We have just seen your comment from the 31st October. You may have solved the problem now, but if not, please see our comments below:

The 2 x 28/300FF90 are, as you rightly say, door rail supports. As mentioned in the construction guide, the door rail supports "angle up from the centre of the Door Rail to the Ridge" - they are diagonal supports. The easiest way to fit them is to fix one end to the Door Rail (using a P Clip) and angle the door rail support up towards the Ridge. Using a second P Clip, fix the door rail support to the Ridge where the two bars meet.

The 4 x 28mm P Clips are for the 2 door rail supports - 2 P Clips per door rail support (1 to go around the Door Rail, one to go around the Ridge).

We do supply plenty of nuts and bolts to ensure customers always have enough - as these are little parts, some can often go missing during construction.

Don't forget, we do have our out of hours Construction Advice Helpline available 7 days a week until 9pm - please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries or questions.

    Kind regards,

    Premier Polytunnels
