    My First Greenhouse

    So.... Having just acquired my very first greenhouse on eBay for the bargain price of about two pints
    I'm am now in need of some polycarbonate windows for it. I deliberately got one that was just the frame and only up the road as i don't want glass.

    Anyone know where sells the polycarbonate at a good price? eBay is going to be my first point of call, but is there anywhere else good i should be looking?

    I bought some from Pack of 10, 4mm Greenhouse Polycarbonate Twinwall Sheets | 1220mm x 610mm | eBay
    They send a free roll of aluminium sealing tape too.

      Cheepest I've seen is 14 sheets for £45 and free delivers, which i think is good... Errrrm, any idea how many i need? It's 8x6, till i pick the greenhouse up I've no idea

            About 25 (1220mm x 610mm)............... 4 for each side, 4 for each roof, 5 for the back & 4/5 for the front.

              Really? Based on the link VC posted worked it out closer to 18....

                You'll need 16 just for the sides & roof.

                      Yep that's what i'm making it, not cheep, but still much cheeper than new!

                        I have had mine at least 5 years no sign of problems at this time.

                        When fitting make sure you have it the right way round otherwise the sun can cause problems and make sure it is well secured otherwise you will be going to see your neighbours after a strong wind.
