Thank you Bren, I have been considering buy a couple of these to try but have been put off by the price.

    How many have you bought?

Have you used this company before?

Jilly I've not bought any or have I used the company either, I just thought I'd pass on the info.
It does look a good deal.

What beats me is how they could charge £19.99 originally for what appears to be a bucket with a hole in it!!!!!!

Saw these being advertised on TV this am - JML supplied to well-known supermarkets at RRP £9.99.

Grabitnow price by that standard excellent. I've seen the idea before and it does make some sense re nutrition etc and would be great if you live in a flat with just a small balcony to grow on.

            ...or no balcony at all.

Also, see the following Instructables about the same.

            Using hanging baskets:
how to plant hanging upsidedown tomatoes

Far more attractive than the bags/buckets you can but and probably more than hanging baskets too... Wall mounted in a quarter barrel:
How to build an attractive, space saving upside down planter.

            And the last one... self-watering!

You could combine any of the above or the last one with the GrabItNow offer.

Ordered 3 of the Grab it now containers when OH told me about them. Waiting for delivery. I was already toying with the idea but like other grapes, the price was putting me off. By the time OH saw the ad I had more or less decided not to bother.
Went to Tesco to do my shopping and lo and behold, they were selling what appears to be EXACTLY the same thing, even down to the pattern on the planter, and they are charging £9.99 each. The grab it now ones came with free seeds and foam disks which the Tesco box never mentioned.
I did an experiment last year with an old plastic paint container and a tomato from a shop bought one I saved the seeds for. It was a reasonable result but OH wasn't happy with the paint can jobby so hence he ENCOURAGED me to buy these ones
(like I even need encouragement to spend money on the garden!!!)

Sorry! Feeling a bit of a dunderhead! Any tips
