  • uploading photos: blond!

not sure where to post this, but want to post some pics of damage to my psb and no idea where to start! I have the flash drive from the camera in the printer, and can get a list of the jpg photos. Do I need a special program to insert them into my question? I have tried just inserting them, but nothing seems to happen. Help please!

Load the photos onto your computer. When you make your post click "go advanced" and follow the instructions for inserting files.

Do you have a wee plastic thingy on your 'puter which you can pop out and put the card-thingy from the camera in?

If you do, the 'puter will just read the card and you'll see it as an Er F: or some other drive on your "Explorer" window - you can then use the "Advanced" option RL mentioned above to pull the relevant pic into your post....

      Good luck!

Thanks, both, found the 'Advanced',Found a card reader, connected it to the pc, found the jpeg, but it now says it's too big. Can I shrink it somehow?

yep i had the same problem when i tried to upload pic's a while ago, anyway the easiest way to overcome this is to right click on the image file, go down to open with, then click onto microsoft office picture manager, then click onto edit picture at the top of the screen. Then go to the right handside of the screen and click on compress pictures, them click on web pages, then click OK, then save it!

I know that sound pritty strenuous, but its alot easier than it sounds, anyway give it a whirl, if you get stuck just give us a shout!
