  • Tomato Growbags

Bought the last 4 Levington tomorite growbags in Poole Homebase on Sunday marked at £1.93 but went through at £1.43 each.
Went to Homebase opposite Castlepoint Bournemouth today & they had a large pile of these without a price tag.
Got an assistant to check the price & they were £1.43 so I bought another 5.
They are twice the size of a normal growbag with added fertilizer so that seems pretty cheap.
Might be worth checking your local Homebase.(there are at least 10 left at Castlepoint)

Just googled these tomatorite growbags & found them on crocus & they are £55 for 8 (incl p&p) so I think I got a bargain.

Just to be fair to Crocus I put 6 bags when it should have been 8 so have now edited my original post but it`s still £7 a bag.

That's also a good buy, suppose you could add to them to make them more nutritious. When I priced it up last year, it was more economical to buy bags of compost than growbags though.
