When I walked my dog other day I've noticed there were a lot of dry grasses in the field that grass has not been cut since last year. They looked really good - strong, dry and clean - It looked better than any straw I bought before. I collected some and used as straw for my strawberry bed. See pic. I dont know if any of you have done that before. Maybe an idea for you to try.
