Default Lawn Repair Tip

Not a vegetable I know, but most of us have lawns and maybe some of us have "Bowling Greens" However, we all get weeds.
Im not to fussed about a bit of moss ,clover, buttercup etc. but the larger dandies, plantains and such make an unsightly patch.

I dig these out using a long blade knife and make a repair - but dont so seed direct.

I have a couple of pot carrying trays scrounged from the GC, the ones with 6 or 8 circles in the base which hold the pots steady

Fill each circle with seed compost and sow grass seed on the surface of each circle. Clip with scissors when required.

Thro' the season you can dig out offending weed and replace with the little 'turf' for an instance repair. saves trying to avoid sucking up new seed in the lawn mower, feeding the birds, and preventing more weeds appearing in the new grass.
