Has anyone tried to grow vanilla beans in a greenhouse. if so how easy was it ?

I wouldn't bother !
"Vanilla is the world's most labour intensive agricultural crop, which is why it's so expensive. It will take up to three years after the vines are planted before the first flowers appear. The fruits must remain on the vine for nine months in order to completely develop their distinctive aroma.

Its a Tropical Orchid, and a mare to keep.

Where i work ours has been slowly dieing for over a year, we have tried everything to keep it, but it had decided to die.
