  • Pak Choi

I'm going to plant out some Pak Choi soon and was reading that they have shallow roots, but how shallow? I've got some 5" high polyestyrene boxes, would they be fine?

Millimetre shallow: puff them and they fall over.

Best grown in autumn, tbh, or else they just bolt (in summer)

mine have managed to bolt already, and it's hardly been summer yet
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

I had excellent growth since March, really leafy and bulb formation. BBQ'd some couple weeks back - really nice!

Have noticed a couple bolting now though I may grow one or so on, to see what the flower looks like though.
