  • Swiss chard planted out

I planted out some Swiss chard in the garden - I take it these are OK to grow outdoors through Winter?

Are they likely to grow ready for picking in the cold weather?

I've already had some Swiss chard advice from grapes which is much appreciated but can't find the old thread and would appreciate if someone can answer these questions.

They will grow all winter long. They are very hardy. We put them in the borders to give some winter colour, as well as a little extra winter food.

they are hardy, but won't grow that much in the cold. i put mine in a little earlier (Sept) and they've got away well. My July sowings are even bigger
