  • aubergines being attacked

    Hello,
My beautiful baby aubergines are being attacked by something that is leaving deep holes in the fruits . They are in a polytunnel, I have yellow flypapers up and can't see any slugs that would cause so much damage plus it doesn't look like slug/snail damage.....any ideas and preferably natural controls?
    Thanks

Slugs do eat aubs - we occassionally get them on our greenhouse aubs. I'm about to see whether empty grapefruit halves will lure them in!

I've lost most of my aubergine plants to snails. They were sneaking into the greenhouse and chomping through the stems, the peppers have also been savaged.

I lost my aubergines to snails. They are cunning swines you know. I grew the most perfect fruit, beautiful and purple. I picked it, all ready to eat turned it round and there was a big fat snail. It had scoffed a great big hole in my beautiful aubergine. The snail died a horrible death.
