Default Acer-palmatum var. dissectum

I have some seed of Acer palmatum var.dissectum. I have no idea how to propogate these seed but would willingly let someone of one or two in exchange for advice on how to go about this.
This Acer has been growing in a container for a number of years, it is a slow growing dwarf deciduous shrub forming a low rounded bush of finely-divided green foliage which becomes richly cloloured in autumn.
This is the first year it has produced any seed (it being about 10years old) Any adcice very welcome. Kind Regards--

Hello Nick-- Many thanks for the useful link- just what I need- Would you like to try some of this seed would send you a 'couple' if you are interested. It looks as though I will be waiting quite a while before I manage to propogate them- but worth a try- it will be interesting.--Kathie

Thanks for the offer of seeds Kathie. I've already got an Acer in the garden so Grow the extra couple yourself. You can always Bonsai them!
