| I've occasionally used gone-over runner seeds - if you get home from hols and find bulging beans they are ok to use fresh. I've not tried drying them to use though. I do with yin-yang and some of the french but I've stopped growing runners. I prefer french beans.

| I dry most of my French beans to use in chillis, curries, nut loafs (?) etc. For a proper red "kidney" bean, try growing Canadian Wonder.
