    Default Pumpkin recipes?

I was just thinking that with all the pumpkins being carved for this weekend....does anyone have any pumpkin recipes so as not to waste the flesh?

I make soup - just roast a tray of pumpkin pieces, onions, garlic, plus a couple of potatoes in oil and sprinkled with salt and cayenne. Then blitz the lot, thin with stock and adjust seasonings. I like mine with extra curry spices in

Put it into curry, chilli or tagine. Roast and put in pasta or risotto

My usual non experimental me is curried pumpkin soup. When I can be bothered a pumpkin pie and I have in the past tried pumpkin cookies and pumpkin fudge all go down well.

I always have plans to make something different but in the end its always curried soup using a very similar recipe as Thelma.

Does anyone have any good recipes. I am planning on doing something a bit different over the weekend and just looking for ideas.

    Thanks as always

    Here's a couple to try.

Pumpkin Chutney – The Crafty Larder
Not tried this one myself yet but I will be

Autumn spiced pumpkin chutney - Morrisons
Don't remember if this is the one I made last year or not ( lost all my bookmarks after an update) but it's very similar. So it should be good.

Caramelised spiced pumpkin seeds recipe - All recipes UK
This is fantastic but I use a lot less salt than in the recipe

Roasted Pumpkin Soup - Cookie and Kate
Again not tried because couldn't find the one I made last year but it's similar

    Not tried but going to.
