Passata maker and redcurrants

Has anyone tried putting soft fruit through the passata maker??
I have a freezer full of red currants and thought that if I make juice from them they would be used up more quickly.
I do have a juicer but am dying to try out my Xmas pressi!!

Yes! Ideal for cooked goosegogs, apple and pear pulp. Tried damsons, but the stones were too big I'd try black and redcurrants, both raw and cooked - would be interested to know what comes out.

Lucky you getting one for Christmas - one of our top kitchen investments!
